Deposit Policy
A $250.00 initial deposit and signed contract are due 30 days from booking.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received up to 30 days prior to arrival guarantee a full refund of your advance deposit.  Cancellations received within 30 days will not be refunded.

Rooming List
A rooming list is due 30 days prior to arrival along with any special requests such as a first floor, adjacent, connecting, or non-smoking rooms.  All requests will be honored on an availability basis.

    Relax and enjoy dining in one of our 18th century dining rooms filled with ambiance.  Our Executive Chef will have prepared a traditional Yankee feast for your group.  Then enjoy the show with over 30 characters from the 1890’s in an hour.  Men, women and children in the costumes/props of the era, skillfully portrayed by one talented woman!

    Have your group enjoy hot cider and coffee along with our homemade breads while they tour dozens of Scarecrows on display on the front lawn of the Publick House.  Each scarecrow is hand made by various groups, families and individuals!  Utilize the 10% off coupon for baked goods in our Bake Shoppe.  Each member will leave with a goodie bag that includes a Joe Frogger cookie, jelly jar and recipe card as well as our famous sticky buns.

     
  • Gingerbread House Decorating
    (Available December through January)

    For 27 years, visitors have been coming to the Publick House to see our magnificent 10 foot Gingerbread House and lavishly decorated inn.  The Publick House Bake Shoppe will assemble miniature versions and guests will decorate the gingerbread houses themselves! While the decorations are setting, you’ll have cookies, cider, games and a Christmas movie or  enjoy lunch!
     
  • Mystery Theatre Production
    $725.00 for the show Plus Lunch at $21.00 per person inclusive or Dinner $24.50 per person inclusive

    Currently showing: "Mystery on the Range" is a 3 actor, interactive, Western murder mystery. Written specifically for smaller size audiences (under 75 people), it fits perfectly with most tour groups! Whether it's lunch or dinner this show is one to die for!
     
  • “Connections” an Evening with Gary McKinstry
    $20.00 per person minimum 50 people or
    $27.00 per person minimum 25 people

    Journey with Gary McKinstry, Medium, Psychic, Clairvoyant – for two hours of live channeled “CONNECTIONS” with past lives. There are no guarantees of a connection for everyone in the room; however, his special ability as the receiver may allow some individuals to achieve a connection with a loved one. At the end of the evening Gary welcomes questions.   Mr. McKinstry is a professional psychic medium. Gary has been certified by the American Tarot Association for many years. He also holds a Ph.D. in religion and is a Certified Hypnotherapist. He has been reading tarot and playing cards since he was young, and has always seemed to have the gift of second sight.

Lobster Bakes and Backyard Barbecues - Publick House Historic Inn.  Spend a day at the historic 1771 Inn.  Groups are invited to host a backyard barbecue or lobster bake on our magnificent grounds.  For further information contact the Sales Department at 1-800-PUBLICK or sales@publickhouse.com

Scarecrow Contest – Publick House Historic Inn.  It is not unusual to see over 75 scarecrows on the inn’s front lawn during the peak foliage month of October.  Don’t expect to see your traditional scarecrows, because this has become an exciting artistic competition.  Adults, children, businesses, groups, and artists alike are invited to boast their creativity. Viewing and voting will take place from September 27th through October 24th.   Winners will be determined from ballots cast by the thousands of tourists and local residents that will visit during the month.  The contest will wrap up with an awards ceremony held during the Harvestfest Weekend in October.  A traditional New England Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is available for all groups following the viewing of the scarecrows.   For further information contact the Sales Department at 1-800-PUBLICK or sales@publickhouse.com  

Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner - A traditional New England Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings is offered to groups. Folks travel hundreds of miles, year after year, to experience our Thanksgiving celebration. We suggest making reservations well in advance as our Thanksgiving tables fill up fast.
